Reviews by product category:

Kit that I review I have either purchased, bought at cost price, or some has kindly been donated by companies.

My reviews are honest, detailed and personal; just because a company has provided me with a product, this does not mean I will automatically give it a sparkling review. Rather, if a product is not up to the high standard that I like to promote through the blog, I will abstain from publishing a bad review, and instead try to work with the company to help improve the product. Therefore, all the reviews found on the blog are of products that I fully believe to be great pieces of cycling kit, and that I am willing to endorse with my recommendation.

I do not use a star rating on my reviews, as I believe that different people value different qualities of a product differently; therefore it seems wrong in my view to try and rank a product against others with such personal objectives. I much prefer individuals to read the values and drawbacks of a product in a review, and rank the product themselves.

My Clothing Sizes

To help with comments on sizing that I have made in reviews, my measurements are listed below:

  • Chest: 38 inches (97cm)
  • Waist: 32 inches (82cm)
  • Hips: 35 inches (89cm)
  • Inside Leg: 33 inches (84cm)
  • Gloves: 22.5cm (Size 10)
  • Foot Length: 284mm (EU45)
  • Head: 61cm (Large)
I usually wear a Small in short sleeve tops, a Medium in long sleeve tops and jackets (for arm length), and a 32-33 in formal trousers and jeans.
